Visualizing a manuscript

One of the many ways I obsess over my writing is to take a finished manuscript and analyze the word usage and frequency, looking for cliches, over-used words and phrases, the number of unique words used, and the like.

Wordle (and if you don’t know of it, you should) is a great tool to visualize such word usage.  It’s also a good deal of fun.  Here is a Wordle diagram, made from a selection of my current manuscript:
